Grief Counseling

Anna Bauereis

The loss of a loved one is never easy, and yet, it is something that most of us will come across, at some point in life. After the loss of her youngest son, Alexei, Anna’s world was cast in shadow and darkness. She experienced all the dark emotions that characterize grief – anger, denial, guilt. She felt hopeless, and yet, from that hopelessness, she also found hope.

After Alexei’s untimely passing, Anna became a strong advocate for the prevention of unnecessary pedestrian crashes, like the one that claimed her son’s life. She also set out to help other parents, and families grieving a loss.

Her own considerable grief allowed Anna to become a grief counselor.
